Cease Fire and Peace Plans

Cease Fire and Peace Plans in October 2025
(scroll down if you want to go directly to copies of the actual deals)

Due to conflicting reports and statements, I looked up the last two ceasefire deals in order to be certain of the truth of what was really agreed upon. And this is what I found out...

Netanyahu and Trump are BOTH now doing the complete opposite of promoting peace as they go against, and lie about, the ceasefire agreement that they and Hamas agreed to. Israel almost immediately broke the peace by killing at least 5 Palestinians AFTER the cease fire went into effect. Then Israel broke it again by dishonestly saying that, because Hamas did not return all the deceased hostages within 72 hours, aid to Gaza is going to be cut in half until they are all returned. Neither of these things were actually part of the deal.
Trump was also breaking the peace by lying and angrily threatening that, because Hamas did not return all the deceased hostages within 72 hours, Hamas now has to disarm or forcibly be disarmed. Neither of these things were in the deal either. Trump also said that Hamas agreed to disarm, which is not true.
The truth is that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas allowed time, BEYOND the 72 hour period, for the bodies of the hostages to be found because everyone knew that, due to Israel bombing the places where they were being kept, most of them have to be located and dug out of the rubble and some may not even be able to be found if Israel directly dropped bombs on them. Below is a quote from this deal...

"Hamas will share, within the 72 hours, all the information it obtained relating to any remaining deceased hostages... that were not retrieved within the 72 hours... Hamas shall exert maximum effort to ensure the fulfillment of these commitments as soon as possible."

It appears that Israel and Trump are indeed again drumming up excuses to vamp up their own killing sprees against the Palestinians in Gaza, and are already again denying them access to desperately needed food and medical and housing aid. Trump and Israel truly must be stopped right now, and the Palestinians protected. No ifs ands or buts about it.
Israel and Trump have also continued to try to manipulate the public against the Palestinians in many ways, which is evident in many public statements. in the past couple days; it appears that Israel may have just instigated (or demanded or fabricated) the filming of a Hamas execution, in order to make Hamas and Palestinians look bad. And Pro-Palestinian comments have been being erased from under youtube videos, to a very large degree in some places, lately.

Over-all Trump is doing the complete opposite of peace - he is lying and issuing angry threats and causing discord, while pretending that he has created peace in the whole Middle East, and while he dishonestly pretended that everyone had agreed to HIS 20 point plan. Nobody really agreed to his 20 point plan, because he had changed it AFTER some people were in favor of building upon the first draft, which was Biden's and Netanyahu's plan too.
The signing, that Trump just turned into a big public display in Egypt, was actually just a simple agreement between him and three of his allies which did not even include the primary parties - Palestine and Israel. And it appears that those allies may have signed it (or included him in it) under duress, due to Trump threatening them; on his way there he told reporters, "Oh they will sign it. They don't want to disappoint me." He lead people to believe that this was the signing of his 20 point plan, but it wasn't. It all appeared to be just a false show for a possible future peace prize award for himself. It is so sad that he is using, and messing with, the struggling Arab people, for his own gain. ALL of his behaviors in this situation truly are appalling and are adding confusion and discord and fear to an already VERY difficult situation - the complete opposite of real peace.

Contrary to what Trump has bragged about, it is clear that Hamas and the mediators are the ones who actually wrote most of the current ceasefire deal, keeping some of Bidens and Netanyahu's and Trump's terms, in order for it to be fair - actually far more fair to Israel than to the Palestinians, because they knew this was the only way for it to have a chance of being approved by Israel and Trump - the only way to get aid into Gaza and do the hostage exchange.

In the three current deals, which I share here, it is VERY evident that Hamas is the side that wanted Israel to cease fire so that aid could get into Gaza for the starving and suffering people. And this has actually been the case through this whole two year genocide campaign.
In Netanyahu, Biden and Trump's 20 point deal, it is VERY evident that the primary focus is to finish taking over Gaza, and also to get the Israeli hostages back and let some aid into Gaza, in order to pacify the growing public discord over these two parts that THEY themselves have not been allowing...etc.
Trumps 20 point deal was written to look like it considers the Palestinians but also proves that it doesn't, because it puts him and Israel in charge of Gaza, which means the Palestinians would have to be ruled by the very same people who have been bombing them...etc. (This would feel horribly unsafe to the Palestinians.) And it completely leaves out the most important basic things like, the desires of the Palestinian people for their own lands, and ending Israel's decades long illegal occupation on Palestinian lands in both Gaza and the West bank, and freedom and independence for the Palestinian people ON THEIR OWN LANDS. And trumps plan was full of loop holes which appeared to be designed to enable Israel and Trump to do what they were already starting yesterday - finding excuses to start up another killing and destruction spree in Gaza.

The Peace Declaration Trump Signed on October 13 in Egypt, which is not his 20 point deal...

"We, the undersigned, welcome the truly historic commitment and implementation by all parties to the Trump Peace Agreement, ending more than two years of profound suffering and loss — opening a new chapter for the region defined by hope, security, and a shared vision for peace and prosperity.

We support and stand behind President Trump’s sincere efforts to end the war in Gaza and bring lasting peace to the Middle East. Together, we will implement this agreement in a manner that ensures peace, security, stability, and opportunity for all peoples of the region, including both Palestinians and Israelis.

We understand that lasting peace will be one in which both Palestinians and Israelis can prosper with their fundamental human rights protected, their security guaranteed, and their dignity upheld.

We affirm that meaningful progress emerges through cooperation and sustained dialogue, and that strengthening bonds among nations and peoples serves the enduring interests of regional and global peace and stability.

We recognize the deep historical and spiritual significance of this region to the faith communities whose roots are intertwined with the land of the region — Christianity, Islam, and Judaism among them. Respect for these sacred connections and the protection of their heritage sites shall remain paramount in our commitment to peaceful coexistence.

We are united in our determination to dismantle extremism and radicalization in all its forms. No society can flourish when violence and racism is normalized, or when radical ideologies threaten the fabric of civil life. We commit to addressing the conditions that enable extremism and to promoting education, opportunity, and mutual respect as foundations for lasting peace.

We hereby commit to the resolution of future disputes through diplomatic engagement and negotiation rather than through force or protracted conflict. We acknowledge that the Middle East cannot endure a persistent cycle of prolonged warfare, stalled negotiations, or the fragmentary, incomplete, or selective application of successfully negotiated terms. The tragedies witnessed over the past two years must serve as an urgent reminder that future generations deserve better than the failures of the past.

We seek tolerance, dignity, and equal opportunity for every person, ensuring this region is a place where all can pursue their aspirations in peace, security, and economic prosperity, regardless of race, faith, or ethnicity.

We pursue a comprehensive vision of peace, security, and shared prosperity in the region, grounded in the principles of mutual respect and shared destiny.

In this spirit, we welcome the progress achieved in establishing comprehensive and durable peace arrangements in the Gaza Strip, as well as the friendly and mutually beneficial relationship between Israel and its regional neighbors. We pledge to work collectively to implement and sustain this legacy, building institutional foundations upon which future generations may thrive together in peace.

We commit ourselves to a future of enduring peace."

Donald J. Trump President of the United States of America
Abdel Fattah El-Sisi President of the Arab Republic of Egypt
Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani Emir of the State of Qatar

Netanyahu, Biden and Trump's 20-point plan, which was never fully agreed upon by anyone but Trump and Netanyahu

1. Gaza will be a deradicalized terror-free zone that does not pose a threat to its neighbours.

2. Gaza will be redeveloped for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have suffered more than enough.

3. If both sides agree to this proposal, the war will immediately end. Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed upon line to prepare for a hostage release. During this time, all military operations, including aerial and artillery bombardment, will be suspended, and battle lines will remain frozen until conditions are met for the complete staged withdrawal.

4. Within 72 hours of Israel publicly accepting this agreement, all hostages, alive and deceased, will be returned.

5. Once all hostages are released, Israel will release 250 life sentence prisoners plus 1,700 Gazans who were detained after October 7th 2023, including all women and children detained in that context. For every Israeli hostage whose remains are released, Israel will release the remains of 15 deceased Gazans.

6. Once all hostages are returned, Hamas members who commit to peaceful co-existence and to decommission their weapons will be given amnesty. Members of Hamas who wish to leave Gaza will be provided safe passage to receiving countries.

7. Upon acceptance of this agreement, full aid will be immediately sent into the Gaza Strip. At a minimum, aid quantities will be consistent with what was included in the January 19, 2025, agreement regarding humanitarian aid, including rehabilitation of infrastructure (water, electricity, sewage), rehabilitation of hospitals and bakeries, and entry of necessary equipment to remove rubble and open roads.

8. Entry of distribution and aid in the Gaza Strip will proceed without interference from the two parties through the United Nations and its agencies, and the Red Crescent, in addition to other international institutions not associated in any manner with either party. Opening the Rafah crossing in both directions will be subject to the same mechanism implemented under the January 19, 2025, agreement.

9. Gaza will be governed under the temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, apolitical Palestinian committee, responsible for delivering the day-to-day running of public services and municipalities for the people in Gaza. This committee will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts, with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body, the “Board of Peace,” which will be headed and chaired by President Donald J Trump, with other members and heads of State to be announced, including Former Prime Minister Tony Blair. This body will set the framework and handle the funding for the redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority has completed its reform program, as outlined in various proposals, including President Trump’s peace plan in 2020 and the Saudi-French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back control of Gaza. This body will call on best international standards to create modern and efficient governance that serves the people of Gaza and is conducive to attracting investment.

10. A Trump economic development plan to rebuild and energize Gaza will be created by convening a panel of experts who have helped birth some of the thriving modern miracle cities in the Middle East. Many thoughtful investment proposals and exciting development ideas have been crafted by well-meaning international groups, and will be considered to synthesize the security and governance frameworks to attract and facilitate these investments that will create jobs, opportunity, and hope for future Gaza.

11. A special economic zone will be established with preferred tariff and access rates to be negotiated with participating countries.

12. No one will be forced to leave Gaza, and those who wish to leave will be free to do so and free to return. We will encourage people to stay and offer them the opportunity to build a better Gaza.

13. Hamas and other factions agree to not have any role in the governance of Gaza, directly, indirectly, or in any form. All military, terror, and offensive infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities, will be destroyed and not rebuilt. There will be a process of demilitarization of Gaza under the supervision of independent monitors, which will include placing weapons permanently beyond use through an agreed process of decommissioning, and supported by an internationally funded buy back and reintegration program all verified by the independent monitors. New Gaza will be fully committed to building a prosperous economy and to peaceful coexistence with their neighbors.

14. A guarantee will be provided by regional partners to ensure that Hamas, and the factions, comply with their obligations and that New Gaza poses no threat to its neighbors or its people.

15. The United States will work with Arab and international partners to develop a temporary International Stabilization Force (ISF) to immediately deploy in Gaza. The ISF will train and provide support to vetted Palestinian police forces in Gaza, and will consult with Jordan and Egypt who have extensive experience in this field. This force will be the long-term internal security solution. The ISF will work with Israel and Egypt to help secure border areas, along with newly trained Palestinian police forces. It is critical to prevent munitions from entering Gaza and to facilitate the rapid and secure flow of goods to rebuild and revitalize Gaza. A deconfliction mechanism will be agreed upon by the parties.

16. Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza. As the ISF establishes control and stability, the [Israeli military] will withdraw based on standards, milestones, and timeframes linked to demilitarization that will be agreed upon between the [Israeli military], ISF, the guarantors, and the Unites States, with the objective of a secure Gaza that no longer poses a threat to Israel, Egypt, or its citizens. Practically, the [Israeli military] will progressively hand over the Gaza territory it occupies to the ISF according to an agreement they will make with the transitional authority until they are withdrawn completely from Gaza, save for a security perimeter presence that will remain until Gaza is properly secure from any resurgent terror threat.

17. In the event Hamas delays or rejects this proposal, the above, including the scaled-up aid operation, will proceed in the terror-free areas handed over from the [Israeli military] to the ISF.

18. An interfaith dialogue process will be established based on the values of tolerance and peaceful co-existence to try and change mindsets and narratives of Palestinians and Israelis by emphasizing the benefits that can be derived from peace.

19. While Gaza re-development advances and when the PA reform program is faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place for a credible pathway to Palestinian self-determination and statehood, which we recognize as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.

20. The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for peaceful and prosperous co-existence.
